Final Project

Final Project - I choose Mannequins as my project as I always seem to find them 

and feel there need to shoot them. I really care about fashion so I don't know why I like mannequins so much. I think is it because they are supposed to imitations of us. I enjoy finding new styles and looks of them.

Week 12 18b Las Vegas Arts District

This week we went down to the arts district and took pictures there. It has a wide variety of subjects and cool dilapidated buildings next to new contemporary ones and many graffiti art murals.

Las Vegas Document class week 9 Fremont Street South side

This week we ate at MTO's.  I had Chicken with waffles. It came with fries and the entire meal was good. I would order it again!

LV Prime Document, Week 8 Las Vegas Boulevard / White Cross Drugs

Week 8

 

This week we ate at Tiffany's restaurant in White Cross Drugs next to the Stratosphere. Then we went out and wandered the streets searching for people to shoot, but there was no one around after searching for an hour. So we went to the fashion show mall .  Here is a graffiti  wall which I thought was cool. I could not the artist's name though.. This is a small section of the wall.

Week 5 City Center

This week we had breakfast at Plant Hollywood's the Planet dailies Restaurant and then wandered across Las vegas boulevard to City center . We went to the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Aria, Crystals and the Mandarin hotel. They have much to photograph at the various locations both indoors and out. Here a a collage of Aria.

Facebook Cover Page Image

This is one of my favorite composite pieces I have created! I am currently using it as my Facebook cover photo, which sadly only uses the top half of the image. This composite contains 6 different images. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Our New Set of Wheels

Here's our new vehicle we bought in July. It's a 1999 Ford Expedition, the Eddie Bauer model. It has electric everything, A/C, a fabulous moose or cattle guard, barbed wire pin-striping, running boards with lights, a moon roof and a bunch of other stuff! It seats 8 people or you can remove the third seat for more room for stuff!

Here's a picture I used a sepia tones effect on in Photoshop. It is Me with Misty, my adorable Shih-tzu!
